2008 Hyundai Elantra Clutch
by gabriel0322 on Apr 13 2018, 5:32 PMThe clutch pedal in my elantra is making a pulsating/shaking feeling when I let the pedal out, any thoughts?

The clutch pedal will pulsate because of clutch chatter. Clutch chatter usually is caused by either a contaminated clutch disc from a leaking rear main oil seal from the back of the engine. Or from uneven apply surfaces i.e. clutch pressure plate or flywheel that has been overheated from a slipping clutch or an inexperienced driver. This type of overheating can cause hot spots which can cause a “slip stick” condition hence the chatter or pulsating feeling at the pedal. Hope this can help!
