2010 Audi S4 Brake Pad Warning Light

by vannoortchris on Jul 11 2018, 4:16 PM

Light remains on no matter what we do.  Pads have approx 80% lining.  Old sensor had no continuity so we replaced with new.  Light still on.  Tested wiring from module down to sensor - good, tested ground wiring from sensor - good.  Anyone have any other thoughts?  The customer wants the system operational and it's starting to look like we need the control module.

To follow up...  We found an intermittent break in the wire feeding the sensor from the electrical system module.  It was right on the plug going into the module.  All the wires do a 90 degree bend and this one had a slight kink to it.  Replaced the wire and the light is working as intended.
