2015 Chevy Tahoe Magnetic Shocks

by championsa on Aug 08 2017, 5:45 PM

Have a 2015 Chevy Tahoe in and they are getting an error message of "Service Suspension". It has megnetic ride control. Has anyone had to replace these shocks? If so, is there any other option besides the dealer for these expensive shocks?

i had to replace them and when i brought the estimate of work to the dealer they said they would pay for the shocks because the vehicle was under warranty

Get the code checked before you go spending $ on shocks. I had a 14 in the shop with a broken rear sensor arm

I would think you would have warranty on a part like that. Standard shocks maybe not but I'd inquire into getting the dealer to replace them.

Looks like there are no other options than the dealer.

As far as i know of there are no aftermarket companies that offer the magnetic ride replacements yet, its still a fairly new technology
